Simone Edera is a new biancazzurro player

S.P.A.L. announces that it has completed the registration of the striker Simone Edera. The new Biancazzurri player has signed a contract until 30 June 2024.

Born in 1997, Edera grew up in the Turin youth sector and became Italian Spring Champion 2014/2015 with the Granata, then making his debut in the top flight the following year.

After his loan experiences with Parma and Venezia in the Lega Pro, from the 2017/2018 season he was part of the Turin first team, making more than 30 appearances in Serie A.

In 2021 he moved on loan to Reggina in Serie B, while in January 2023 he moved permanently to Pordenone.

Furthermore, during his career, Edera was also called up on several occasions among the ranks of the Azzurri youth national teams: after his debut with the Italy Under 18s, the new white and blue striker was part of all the selections up to the Under 21, for a total of 24 appearances with the Italian shirt.
