Accademia SPAL Under-19 is regional champion with one day to spare!

After winning the Coppa Emilia Juniores Femminile won against Riccione, the second title of the season also arrives for the biancazzurre won with one day in advance. The four-point gap from Modena was enough to decree the girls coached by coach Andrea Orrù as regional champions.

The key victory was a 3-0 win against Montanara, a team from Parma, with goals by Annese, Zappaterra and Sartori.

A record-breaking season so far with some really important numbers: the biancazzurre had the best attack in the tournament by scoring 91 goals: of which as many as 30 were scored by Lavinia Sartori, the league's top scorer, and 20 by Alice Tassinati.

The season will now continue with the rematch of Day 13, scheduled for Saturday, April 20 at 3 p.m. at the Besurica field. The match had been previously cancelled due to the adverse weather conditions that hit the Emilia Romagna and Veneto regions a few weeks ago.

"There is great satisfaction with the result achieved by our girls," comments Head of the Women's Sector Mauro Rotondi, "which is the result of planning that started from afar. The determination and enthusiasm that the girls showed was extraordinary. A special thanks to the staff and insiders for the seriousness and professionalism shown in these months."

Once the regular season is completed, the biancazzurre will be protagonists in the Juniores National Phase together with the winners of the other regional championships.
