Accademia SPAL defeated by Vicenza, while U15 Women's team wins regional final
It is a two-sided weekend that of the Biancazzurro Women's Sector, which, on the one hand, sees the first team defeated in the away match in Vicenza but, on the other, with the Under 15 team obtains the qualification to the very final for the title of regional champions.
In the home of the biancorosse, coach Rossi's girls start off well and it is they who create the first scoring opportunity with Salimata's conclusion from the distance.
A few minutes later Vicenza also made an appearance with Ponte, who broke free of her marker and kicked from the edge of the area, grazing the post of the goal defended by Cazzioli.
When there are now only a few seconds left until halftime, it is Vicenza's Schiavo who breaks the balance, resolving a scrum that allows the biancorossa to take the lead.
The second half opened with the home team doubling their lead, thanks to a fine goal by Marchiori, who let off an impregnable conclusion from long distance. Five minutes later it was the same red-and-white midfielder who sealed the final 3-0, with a precise header on Imparato's corner.
The shoulder pads did not give up and tried to shorten the distance first with Jaszczyszyn, whose lob was deflected into the corner by Deiana, and then with Berti who, however, in a flying turn did not find the goal mirror.
Despite this setback, the Accademia SPAL Femminile keeps itself out of the playout zone with a one-point lead over Jesina Femminile.
Sunday of celebration, on the other hand, for the Under 15 Women's team led by coach Tampieri, which gained access to the final of the Regional Championship in its category, beating the Piacenza-based team San Nicoló 1-0 in the semifinals, thanks to Federica Faggioli's goal.
That of the biancazzurra striker was a fundamental contribution to the offensive phase of the team, which also earned her the title of top scorer of the tournament with an impressive 34 goals scored, but also in defense the young spalline did not joke having conceded only three goals in ten games.
The final, the second one reached in the last two years, is scheduled for Saturday, April 27 at 4 p.m. at the Municipal Sports Field in Castenaso, where awaiting the biancazzurre will be Imolese, which, in its own round, won 1-2 at home to Piacenza.
